Member of the Board of Trustees

We are looking for two new trustees

Simply Limitless is a well-being charity in Worcestershire, helping people with their mental and physical health and social well-being. We are seeking two dedicated and experienced individuals to join our Board of Trustees.

As a Trustee, you will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of the charity and ensuring its continued success in delivering essential services to the community. We are particularly interested in applicants with previous board experience and a strong background in fundraising and marketing.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with fellow Trustees to set and review the charity's mission, vision, and long-term strategic goals, ensuring alignment with our mission to enhance health and well-being outcomes for the community.
• Ensure the charity operates with the highest governance standards, adhering to all legal and regulatory requirements. Act with integrity and promote ethical conduct within the organisation.
• Review and approve the annual budget, monitor financial performance, and oversee the allocation of resources to ensure financial stability and sustainability.
• Help raise the profile of Simply Limitless and engage the public through effective communication, branding, and advocacy for the charity's mission.
• Identify potential risks and work with the Board to develop risk management strategies that safeguard the organisation's interests.
• Participate in annual performance evaluations for the Board and contribute to continuously improving governance practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• A genuine interest in promoting health and wellbeing initiatives and a commitment to making a positive impact in the community.
• Ability to think strategically and contribute to developing long-term organisational goals and plans.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work effectively in a team, and articulate ideas clearly.
• A commitment to the highest ethical standards, transparency, and accountability.
• Experience in successful fundraising and resource development is a plus.
• Willingness to commit time to attend regular board meetings, participate in committees, and engage in the organisation's activities.
• Demonstrated experience as a board member for a nonprofit organisation or similar entity is highly desirable.
